Job Title: Campus Representative

Want to earn amazing resume experience and get your foot in the door of one of the world's top companies? Apply today to be a Dell Campus Representative! Selected students will join a national network of college marketing reps to promote Dell products and services to students, faculty and staff.
Each university is different, so Dell is looking for entrepreneurs to help plan and execute promotional strategies on their campus. Dell Campus Reps are expected to work several hours each week to implement marketing techniques, such as:

Working with student groups
Promoting at summer orientations
Organizing and executing events on campus
Demonstrating Dell products
Distributing promotional materials
Networking with students online using websites such as Facebook, MySpace, etc.
Building relationships with relevant university contacts
Creating a Dell student club on campus, and
Other tactics that fit the unique marketing needs of their campus

Reps are required to attend bi-monthly conference calls with their Regional managers. Regional Managers will provide basic program and product training, and will support reps in their efforts on campus.

While work schedules are flexible, reps are expected to make the Dell position a priority over other jobs and internships. In return for their hard work, Dell Campus Reps earn $10 an hour and are issued a Dell laptop for promotional use during their employment. Dell Reps can also apply for internship credit, if honored by their school.

Ideal applicants are current students with strong interests in business, marketing and communications. At minimum, applicants must commit to participation in the program through January 31st, 2009. However, Reps can continue to work in the Dell program until they graduate and can apply for a promotion after their first year of employment. Applicants must be living on or near campus during the summer and throughout the academic year. Access to a digital camera is also required.

Do you have what it takes to represent Dell on your campus? Apply now at www.RepNation.com/Dell and tell us why we should select you. If it seems like you'd be a good fit, we'll contact you for a phone interview.
